Fairies in Venice

Title: Fairies in Venice Medium: Oil Painting on the Canvas Dimension: 35”X47” Description: This large mythological painting depicts fairies celebrating in a festival in Venice. I put several ancient fairytales together to enrich the story of the painting. Each character has its own story. For example, on the right side of this painting, a humble clown had repeatedly without success proposed to a beautiful but arrogant fairy to marry him. The tear on his face showed that he was once again heartbroken and sad. I used almost four months to paint this piece.
